Who it’s for
AI script writer for faceless YouTube channels
Hookquill writes faceless scripts the way a faceless video gets made: every word written out for the voiceover, a visual cue under each paragraph for your editor, and the voiceover recorded from the finished script. It researches the topic first, so the narration only states what a source backs.

What gets in the way
- The script carries everything
- With no face on screen, the narration does the work a presenter’s energy would. A flat sentence is obvious when there is nothing else to look at.
- Your editor needs more than words
- Every paragraph needs footage, a map, a chart or on-screen text, and someone has to decide which before the edit starts.
- Your comments section checks your facts
- Explainer, history and true-crime viewers notice a wrong date. One mistake can cost a channel its credibility.
How Hookquill helps
- A visual cue for every paragraph
- Mark the channel as faceless and B-roll cues switch on for its scripts: a short note under each paragraph saying what should be on screen.
- A voiceover from the finished script
- Pick a studio narrator for your script’s language and Hookquill reads the spoken lines, without the cues. Download it as MP3 or WAV.
- Research before a word is written
- It searches the web, keeps the facts that have a source, and writes only what those sources back. Claims it could not source are checked and then confirmed or rewritten.
- Files your editor can open
- The editor pack holds the script, the voiceover audio, a shot list as a spreadsheet and the upload text in one download.
Best mode: Full script. Every word written out is what a voiceover needs, and the cues sit under the lines they belong to.
What it looks like
In September 1666, a fire started in a bakery on Pudding Lane.
An engraving of London’s skyline, slow zoom in
Four days later, most of the old City of London was ash.
A map of the City walls, the burned area spreading
So how does one bakery take down a capital?
On-screen text: 2–6 September 1666
How you would use it
- 1Create a voice profile for the channel and mark it faceless.
- 2Type a topic, read the research, pick one of three hooks and approve the outline.
- 3Let it write. Accept or reject each suggested edit; unsourced claims are checked for you.
- 4Make the voiceover, then download the editor pack for whoever edits the video.
What it does not do
Hookquill does not render video, generate footage or make thumbnails. It hands your editor everything else the video needs.
Questions
Can it read the script out loud for me?
Yes. Pick a studio narrator for your script’s language and Hookquill records the voiceover from the finished script, leaving out the visual cues. Download it as MP3 or WAV.
Will a faceless script still sound like my channel?
Yes. The voice profile learns from your channel’s own videos, or from your writing and a short questionnaire if the channel is new.
Does YouTube allow faceless videos with AI-written scripts?
YouTube’s monetization rules are aimed at mass-produced, repetitive content, not at which tool helped you write. A researched script you shape and edit, narrated over footage chosen for it, is your own work.
