Who it’s for

AI script writer for teachers and educational YouTube channels

Hookquill turns a lesson topic into a YouTube script that explains things in order, checks its facts against sources, and shows its reading grade so you can pitch it at your audience. Read it word for word from the teleprompter, or teach from talking points.

What gets in the way

Accuracy is your reputation
Students and parents trust what a teacher says on camera. One unsourced statistic undoes that quickly.
A clear lesson can still lose viewers
Opening with the syllabus instead of a question loses people in the first minute, however good the explanation is.
Recording takes longer than writing
Retakes eat the evening. A script pitched at the right level, that you can read naturally, saves more time than any editing trick.

How Hookquill helps

Facts with their sources
Research comes first, and every fact it keeps has its source listed with the script. Add your own links, PDFs and notes as sources too.
A reading grade on every script
The editor shows a reading grade as you write. Select a passage and ask for it simpler, then accept or reject the change.
Lessons that open with a question
Every video gets three openings, each built on a different kind of hook, so the lesson starts with a reason to keep watching.
Teleprompter or talking points
Read the full script in the teleprompter view, or write the video as talking points and speak from a list.
Chapters students can jump to
The description comes with chapters from your sections, so viewers can find the part they need again.

Best mode: Talking points or full script. Talking points if you explain better off the cuff; the full script if you want to finish in one take.

What it looks like

Example opening for a science lesson.

Why does a metal spoon feel colder than a wooden one in the same room?

They are the same temperature. Your fingertips are measuring something else.

By the end of this lesson you will know what, and why ice cream scoops are made of metal.

An example written for this page.

How you would use it

  1. 1Set up a voice profile from your channel, or from a questionnaire and your writing.
  2. 2Type the lesson topic and who it is for. Read the research and approve the outline.
  3. 3Check the reading grade; make any passage simpler with one click, line by line.
  4. 4Record from the teleprompter or talking points, then paste the titles, description and chapters.

What it does not do

Hookquill writes and checks scripts. It does not make slides, worksheets, quizzes or course pages.

Questions

Can I control how simple the language is?

Yes. The editor shows a reading grade for the script, and any passage can be made simpler on request. Each change arrives as a suggestion you accept or reject.

Does it show where facts come from?

Yes. Every fact the research keeps is stored with its source, and the sources are listed with the script. You can add your own links, PDFs and notes as well.

Can it write in my students’ language?

Yes. Hookquill writes natively in English, Hindi, Urdu, Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, Indonesian, Arabic, on every plan.
