About Hookquill

Hookquill is a web app that writes YouTube scripts in the creator’s own voice. From one topic it researches the facts with sources, offers three hooks, writes the full script, checks every unsourced claim, and makes the voiceover, titles, description and tags. It writes natively in 9 languages.

Who makes it

Hookquill is built and run by one person, its founder, who signs the guides on this site as Founder @ Hookquill. Write to support@hookquill.com and the person who builds the product reads it.

The problem it solves: AI scripts tend to sound like AI, and they state facts nobody checked. Hookquill learns how you talk from your videos or your writing, and keeps a source for every fact it uses.

How the guides are made

Drafted with AI, from a brief and real facts
Script examples, hooks, video ideas, templates and glossary entries are drafted by AI models from a brief per page, the same way Hookquill drafts scripts. We say so because it is true, and because the checks below are what make them worth reading.
Checked before anything goes live
A page does not go live if it is too thin, repeats a paragraph from another page, uses phrases from our list of filler, or still holds a claim marked as needing a source. Each page has its own title and description, and the date it was last updated.
Comparisons use only checked facts
Every price and feature on a comparison page comes from one facts file, checked against the vendor’s own website, with the date of the check shown on the page. Where a vendor blocks automated checks, the page says which dated source the price came from.
Numbers are calculated, not guessed
The script length pages are computed from one speaking pace, 150 words a minute, so a 10-minute video is 1,500 words on every page that mentions it.
Examples are written for the page
Example scripts, hooks and lines show the style; they are not copied from real channels. Where an example uses a real event, it sticks to well-documented facts.

What we will not do

No invented reviews
No testimonials, user counts or customer logos until they are real.
No training on your scripts
Your scripts are yours. They are never used to train AI models and never sold.
No invented stories
Hookquill never makes up experiences in your name. Where a personal story would help, it leaves a marked slot for your own.
No surprise costs
Every button shows its credit cost before you spend it, and your first video is free with no card.

Found a mistake?

Email support@hookquill.com with the page link and what is wrong. Factual errors are fixed and the page’s date moves with the fix. If you work for a tool we compare against and a price has changed, tell us and we will check it on your site and correct it.
